We loved our stay at this absolutely stunning and charming cottage in Aldbrough St John. We chose this location because we were visiting friends and family nearby and needed a convenient base, but it was so much more than that. The interior is so beautiful and tasteful and so very comfortable. We had everything we needed and had three nights of very restful sleep. The village is one of the most beautiful in the area and we had Sunday lunch at the Stanwick Arms - where the staff are very friendly and served up huge plates of lovely food. Our dog was also incredibly happy at Lilac Cottage and liked mooching in the little garden. Would definitely like to stay again if we come back to the area.
Everything was perfect.
