The beds were clean and comfortable. Good location. Cheap.

The contact person for this property has very bad comunication skills. Language barrier with him and the housekeeper. I have been notified via txt message that I am obliged to pay a call out fee of $300 plus GST for the faulty lights in dining area. It was the "housekeeper" that came to inspect and even he didnt know lights in the dinning area had to be switched on in 2 different areas to actually TURN ON! I was not told beforehand i was told "someone will be there to inspect" this "call out fee" is not in the lease agreement. We arrived late Friday night. Had travelled 4 plus hours to get to the property. We had booked in advance atleast 6 weeks ago. 4 adults 6 kids. 1) We could not figure out how to turn dinning lights on. 2) 2 kids managed to shower before the HOT WATER RAN OUT had to wait 3plus hours for water to heat again... 3) bathroom was dirty 4) kitchen had hair in the stove and on the windowsill 5) we checked switch board to see what was happenjng with lights. The cover fell off completely. Could have seriously injured one of my kids 6) pieces of glass out on the front deck my 3 year old nearly stood on it. 7) no heating (only a wall heat lying flat on a draw) 8) no tv 9) no basic utensils etc in kitchen like toaster teatowels cloths (housekeeper brought spoons when he "came to inspect the lights and hot water") 10) NOT EVEN A BROOM TO SWEEP THE FLOOR I will say that the beds were comfy and clean. Good locatikn close to where we wanted to visit in Auckland. It was cheaper than most places in Auckland. But I do know why...now. Spa bath is broken and was dirty when we arrived
