The space was lovely and was in an excellent location for me. Although I lived in Auckland years ago, I hadn't spent much time in that area, and I absolutely loved it. Easy to get to town and also to other areas I needed to go to.
Communication was clear and friendly from the host. Instructions were clear and timely.
It is a physically lovely and inviting house. We had everything that we needed and if there was a problem, I felt confident that the host would respond quickly. We didn't utilise the outdoor space, but it is a lovely area.
There were two of us talking in the living area on my first night. Suddenly, there was a loud thumping noise from the neighbours above us, obviously telling us to be quiet.
The following night, we were talking in the lounge again, around 11.00 pm, and another bang from above happened. We had made a point of talking quieter, so it showed we couldn't relax and talk. It really ruined our time there, which was a shame because we loved the space.
