WALK2BEACH Riviera Beachfront Luxury Studio Suite - Steps to Yabanaki Varkiza

Wow. This was the best studio apartment accommodation my wife and I have stayed in so far (and we travel a lot!). First of all, our host Ana welcomed us with a big smile and genuine warmth. Her gesture of preparing thoughtful surprise gifts for us, along with a big bowl of fresh fruit, breakfast snacks, and plenty of bottled water, was such a wonderful touch. She personally showed us around the whole apartment and even gave us fantastic recommendations for the best breakfast, lunch, and dinner places to visit. ​The entire apartment is completely new, modern, beautifully designed, and wildly functional. It has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay and more: air conditioning, fast Wi-Fi, a large smart TV, a multi-room sound system, a washing machine, an ironing set, and a fully equipped kitchen. ​The location is also perfect. It’s close to a great variety of restaurants and shops. Right in the same building, there is an amazing waffle/ice cream parlor and a charming souvenir shop. It is a 1-minute walk to the public bus line and just a few minutes away from a gorgeous sandy beach. ​The view from the balcony is spectacular, complete with a swing chair, comfortable seating, and a remote-controlled sun awning. I could go on and on. If you are looking for accommodation in this area of Athens, look no further. This is your best option.

My wife and I have been lucky enough to travel quite a bit and have stayed in many apartments and Airbnbs around the world, but I honestly don’t think we’ve ever been this excited to write a review! Anna was absolutely wonderful from the very beginning. Months before our trip, when we first booked, she went out of her way to help us find another apartment in the same building for my wife’s father, who was travelling with us. That already told us what kind of host she was, and throughout our stay she continued to go above and beyond. And the apartment itself… where do I start? Every single detail has been thought of to make the stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. The movable TV, fully equipped kitchen, snacks, fruit, water, toiletries, towels, beach towels — everything you could possibly need was there. She even gave us lovely slippers as a gift, which we’re now wearing for the rest of our trip! The location is also fantastic: directly across from the beach, with plenty of great restaurants, cafés and bakeries nearby. Getting around was very easy using Uber or Free Now, although I’d recommend scheduling rides in advance when you know what time you’ll need one. We genuinely wished we could have stayed longer. This was easily one of the best places we’ve stayed in a very long time, and a big part of that was Anna herself. Do yourself a favour and book it. You won’t regret it!
