Elevated Horizon Retreat

Nice apartment. Spacious, clean and comfortable. The view is fantastic! Great communication from the host with arrival details and flexible timings.

It's worth being aware that it is a downstairs apartment with a family living above so it was quite noisy at times with children running around. It was however very quiet later in the evening and overnight so didn't disturb our sleep at all.

Everything was cool

The view was stunning! The place smelled beautiful and clean and was spacious. It had everything a person would need while on a road trip. The hosts were very accommodating with our arrival time, even when we were delayed. We also loved that there was a little freezer to freeze our ice packs for the cooler! The bed was very comfortable and it was great to have a little living room away from the bedroom so that if someone wanted to watch TV or read while another wanted to sleep they could both do so without disturbing the other.

We would have liked a little kitchen sink in the kitchen area to clean our dishes and wash our fruit, but the bathroom sink worked well.

The walk out basement backyard view is amazing the neighbour is friendly sending me flowers.

There are a few areas where this property needs improvement. The 'retreat' title is misleading, as the noise of the children running from upstairs unit—beginning at 6:30 AM—was quite disruptive. Additionally, the entry system is unreliable. We struggled with the keypad upon arrival and were eventually locked out at night when the fob failed. With the host unavailable to assist after 9:00 PM, being stranded outside over 10 minutes with my family was a very stressful experience.
