Relaxing Studio Near the Beach

Si bien no tenía comentarios nos arriesgamos y no estamos arrepentidos. El lugar es como se muestra en las fotos, estaba muy limpio. Los amenitis muy completos, todos los utensillos de cocina nuevos, había café de cortesía y todo lo necesario para el aseo personal. La cama king muy cómoda. La ubicación es excelente. La comunicacion con el anfitrión es muy fluída, contestan muy rápido. Wifi sin problemas. Tuvímos una estadía excelente. Relacion precio calidad muy buena. Esperamos volver pronto, lo elegiría nuevamente

Si bien hay pequeñas cosas que podrían mejorarse en general todo estuvo muy bien.

Apt. #4 has a very good kitchen set-up. Full size appliances (stove with oven and refrigerator). Dish drainer, good sponge, dishwashing liquid in a pretty pump dispenser. Solid dishes, glassware, flatware, nested stainless steel bowls with lids that could be used for: mixing, serving, storage. A knife block with kitchen scissors, stainless steel cutting board. Water boiling electric kettle, toaster, drip coffee machine, and Nespresso machine. One kitchen towel. Plenty of cupboard space. The "living" area has a sofa that looks like it could be converted to a bed (but I didn't try), a small dining table for two, a floor lamp, upholstered chair, large walk in closet with full sized ironing board+iron and hangers, a bed (Queen?) with built-in drawers, small night table on each side with wall lamps above. The smart TV is wall-mounted across from the sofa, and can pivot slightly if you want to watch it from the bed. The bathroom is large with an open closet full of shelves (towels and linens) sink, toilet, bathtub/shower (no plug to take a bath you'd have to bring one), window, the black and white tiles appear to be at least 70 years old and even though some are slightly damaged-I hope that they keep them because of their charm. Even though the building is located on Harding Avenue, I wasn't disturbed by sounds of normal traffic, but I could hear the sirens of police, ambulance and fire trucks. There's a washer and dryer, but isn't coin operated, you must have a device to download an app and pay online. Short walk to: beach, bus+trolley stops, library (if you like to read while at the beach they sell some books for $1 or $2, Walgreen's, CVS, restaurants and a small market. I used either bus($2.25) or trolley(free) to go to Publix at Collins and 68th Street. It seems to me that the hosts have put considerable effort into providing a space that meets the need for comfort and ease of the traveler.

Apt.#4 has a gas stove, and I could smell the gas while cooking, which was unpleasant.***I was surprised and disappointed that there wasn't a colander in the kitchen (rinsing fruits and vegetables, draining pasta). ***The blinds were too small for the windows in the living room. I would prefer insulated blackout curtains for: privacy, noise reduction, light blocking (both for better sleep and to make it easier to watch the TV at night) and insulation to maintain coolness.***It would also be nice to have coverings for the windows in the kitchen.***I would prefer that the television be mounted directly across from the bed, since I like to watch TV before falling asleep.
