Close to beach and bus/trolley stops. full size ironing board, mixing bowl set with lids which could be used for both food prep and storage, ample supply of dishes/glasses/study, silverware, can opener, wine bottle opener, sponge with pump dispenser of dishwashing liquid, one fabric kitchen towel, knife block (including scissors), SS cutting board, dish drainer, plastic utensils for non stick pots *which were in excellent condition8, toaster, drip coffee pot with a coffee packet and filter, Nespresso machine with several pods, packets of sugar, glass electric kettle, full size gas stove with oven, microwave, full size fridge with ice trays, paper towel on dispenser, baking trays, extra garbage bags, bathroom had full bottles of hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, blow dryer, toilet brush with plunger, plenty of bath and beach towels, the diverter to have a bath was operable in only one apt., full length broom/dustbin, drawers under Captain's bed, 10 hangers, one apt. had a split a/c which was adequate, there's a washer and dryer available that only works via an app., customer service was very responsive in arranging to move me to an apt. that had adequate a/c, and were extremely helpful with accessing the laundry facilities. Everything is quite dependent on the use of smart phones and videos. The decor was simple and uncluttered, one kitchen had minimal counterspace but did have a 4-seater table and brand new fridge and stove, while the other had older fridge and stove but an enormous amount of cupboard space and countertop area for working-which makes it ideal for single/couples planning a longish stay-with only a two-seater table set up in the living area (good for watching TV while eating). The TV mount allows it to be slightly pulled out and tilted toward the bed. Even though it is located on Harding Ave. (a busy street) some of the rooms are tucked away and therefore the noise from vehic;les wasn't as loud as I had feared.

The first apt. had a tiny window a/c which could not cool the space adequately, so the host moved me to a different apt. which had a split a/c that did a decent job. Neither apt. had black-out curtains to keep the room cooler and the light out, plus the mini blinds were smaller than the window which made privacy impossible, there weren't overhead (ceiling lights) in the main area of either apt. I stayed in, no pot holder in kitchen-so I had to use the towel to keep from getting burned, no colander for either rinsing fruit or draining pasta (which was a bit tricky to do without getting scalded), Not criticism, but suggestions: ceiling fans to improve circulation and cooling, pot holders, black-out curtains that generously cover well above/below/either side by at least 8-12", beach chairs with umbrellas, a folding plastic-covered wire rack for drying bathing suits and towels, weightier paper towels would be nice, much more dependable WIFI, my second stay the WIFI continuously dropped for 5 of the 7 days-even though I kept sending text messages asking for help. The fabric shower curtain was soiled on both my first and second stay.
