Garage House Bangkok-Car Theme Stay 8Bed 6Room

We really enjoyed our stay at Garage House Bangkok. The car theme was unique and fun, and the rooms were comfortable and fit our group perfectly. The house was generally clean, spacious, and very comfortable for a larger group. The parking was also a big plus. We had two vans and were able to park both without any trouble. It was also great that a washing machine was available, even though we didn't end up using it during our stay. We especially appreciated having snacks and drinks available in the house. It was a clever and convenient idea, and if the prices were comparable to 7-Eleven, we probably would have bought quite a few!

There are just a few small things that would make the stay even better: There weren't enough hangers for everyone. It wasn't clear whether the drinking water in the rooms was complimentary or had to be paid for, unless we simply missed the information. There were no instructions for using the karaoke system, so we weren't able to figure it out easily. It would be helpful to have trash-bin liners available in each room so guests can easily replace them. A separate recycling bin for bottles and cans would also be a nice addition. There weren't enough coffee mugs for our entire group, so we ended up buying some from the nearby 7-Eleven. The fridge was stocked with drinks, which was a nice touch, but it left limited space for food and drinks that we brought. Perhaps having a designated section for guest items would help. The twin-bed room is a little isolated from the rest of the house, so I think it could be made more lively and special. Since it has its own dining table outside and a sliding door separating it from the kitchen, it has the potential to feel almost like its own little studio. Decorating it more creatively to match the car theme would make it a really memorable part of the house. The bathroom in that room also didn't have a working light, so we had to use a lamp from the upstairs room. We also had an issue with the air conditioning in the master bedroom. It was set to 16°C but was blowing warm air, so we had to turn on the living-room AC and leave the door open to let the cool air into the bedroom. Having a fan available would have helped as a backup. Overall, though, these are all relatively small improvements. None of them would discourage us from staying here again. We were very comfortable, enjoyed the unique theme and spacious setup, and would definitely consider staying again. With just a few tweaks and a little more attention to the small details, this place could be even better.
