Sailor's 77

An excellent location in the old town at the back of the cathedral with a mini-shop practically on the doorstep and the beach nearby. It was great to be able to sit out on the tiny balcony with a beer and a slice of pizza or an arancina to watch the world go by. The bed was really comfortable and with the windows closed at night the room was very quiet - the air-con meant that on the one night it was too hot, I could keep cool. The coffee maker was an essential for me, so super happy for that, though there are lots of bars and cafes nearby if you want to go out.

The bed was good, the coffee maker great and the fridge useful, but this was still a pretty much frills-free experience. The shower was miniscule, the toilet didn't flush too well and though the room was generally clean, everything was a little bit tired. The only lighting in the room was very bright overhead lighting which was a bit overwhelming at night, but I got used to it. Still, I rested well and enjoyed my stay, so no real complaints.

Amazing view and great location

But tricky if you’re getting there by car but the beach front parking worked well for us
