Townhouse in the heart of Ennis Co Clare

Plenty of room for our family of 5 to spread out for four nights in Ennis. Good size kitchen, fresh air from the balcony, bathrooms small but clean and everything functioned properly including showers with plenty of hot water and pressure. Location is incredible! There is a shortcut walkway -- secured by a locked gate! -- that connects to O'Connell Street; we walked to restaurants, pubs, bakeries, convenience store in 5mins every day. Lots of free parking for our rental car, allowing us to drive to Cliffs of Moher (45mins), Mountain View Horse Riding (40mins), Dolphinwatch Carrigaholt (1hr), and many other adventures and ruins in even less time, ending our trip at Shannon Airport only 20mins away. Marcella was one of the best hosts I've ever worked with across many vacation home rentals! Excellent communication, eager to ensure we were comfortable, so easy to access property and zero check-out instructions which was such a luxury compared to most. Highly recommomend!

We visited in mid-July 2026 during an unprecedented Irish heat wave. The house did not have air conditioning so the house did get hot. But I think this was an anomoly, A/C typically not needed. More improtantly, our host Marcella actually went around Ennis looking for fans to buy for us and when none were available, she was going to set out to Limmerick. We asked her not to go to such trouble, but she clearly would have gone to great lenghts for our comfort.
