Alba Atlântica - Funchal Apartment

Lovely apartment with nice homely and modern furnishings. The host was friendly and easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. Collecting the key was easy and welcoming. The kitchen has a decent set of knifes, chopping boards, frying pots & pans and accompanying crockery and cutlery. Goes a long way especially if you enjoy cooking as the kitchen and utensils provided were more than adequate. There was even a sandwich press which came in handy for making packed lunches for taking on hikes. The bedrooms get really nice and dark if you close the shutters to the balcony, and of course the balcony off the sitting room was a lovely spot to read a book and share a glass of wine. The apartment is ideally located between Funchal to the SE and an area of local bars and restaurants SE of Sao Martinho. We particularly liked a bar called ‘Local Pub’ for live music and an evening drink.

If we were being really picky then maybe a few photos could be re-hung or the on the wall where the photos used to be could be painted over. Additionally the audio quality on the telle was poor but we weren’t watching a lot of telle anyway as we were on Holliday so didn’t really matter. Over all ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
