The response from the landlord is very fast, that’s very helpful.
I was very concerned to find a CCTV camera installed inside the property. Cameras outside the property for security purposes are understandable, but having a camera inside a room rented by guests feels invasive and potentially unlawful in the UK.
Booking.com should look into this matter and give guide to the landlord. What would happen if these recordings were leaked? It is unsettling to think that guests may be watched or recorded while inside the room.
Additionally, there were no towels provided, and the shampoo bottle could not be opened. And they claimed to have 5 bed, and two of which are sofa in living room. You can’t sleep on those sofas.
