The Little Loft Hideaway, Coastal Retreat

The apartment was clean, tidy and as seen on the photographs. WiFi was good. The shower was really nice. I was very grateful for the additional essentials such as washing up liquid, kitchen roll, towels etc - it made the stay really easy as the apartment had pretty much everything you would need for a couple of nights. An easy drive to the local beaches.

Lovely host and beautiful quiet location. Will definitely book again

The “room” was exceptionally clean, nice large bath towel and toiletries, generous bottle water supply

The internet between 4-10pm was rubbish, constantly cutting out. I suspect this has got nothing to do with the host but what is available for the locality. At 6-7:30am I had a full signal. The paper/plastic black blinds are a faff held up by 4 bulldog clips. And it would be convenient if the lighting had two way switches at the top of the spiral staircase. As highlighted by other reviews, if a couple are staying, one might have to crawl over the other because of the slope of the ceiling and I wonder how hot the bed area may have been during the peak summer temperatures

The lady is very kind and welcoming. She really likes to improve the house and make it feel like your own home, so you can feel comfortable and at ease.

The house is attached to the owner’s house, and the walls are quite thin, so you can hear them shouting quite often, even during the hours when you are sleeping. The parking is on the street, although there is enough space on the driveway for two cars. The towels didn’t smell very fresh and were a little damp. The house was generally clean, but there was some dust behind the TV and on the glass TV table. I left two very visible marks when I touched the table. The upstairs area is quite unusual and interesting, but the ceiling on the left side are very low because it’s a loft. So, if you have difficulty bending down or have knee problems, this part of the house may not be suitable for you.
