Unfortunately, we missed their message on the Agoda app and ended up taking a Didi from the station. Our initial room was smaller than expected, with a mountain view partially blocked by a nearby building. After we requested a change (we stayed 5 nights), the team kindly accommodated us. The bed was comfortable, and while breakfast was decent, a bit more variety would make it better. Do note there’s no TV and the WiFi is quite weak—this is really a place to disconnect and relax. The main downside is the location. It’s about a 20-minute ride to the town area, which can be inconvenient. If we were to plan again, we’d split the stay—spending a few nights here for the views, and the rest closer to Wulingyuan or Yongding for accessibility. Overall, highly recommended for the scenery and peaceful atmosphere.

Highly recommend this hotel! When you stay in this hotel, you're staying in the midst of the best Zhangjiajie landscapes. The views are stunning, the rooms are big and comfortable, the food is delicious and the service was fantastic. Bonus - such cute host animals roaming around the property (dogs and cats, including a puppy!). The town of Wulingyuan doesn't have much going on and is a bit overbuilt - this is a much more peaceful place to be and the hotel drives you to the national forest park each day you want to go and picks you up from the airport or train station when you first arrive. Plus, Didis are widely available for other transport needs.
