Red Planet Clark Angeles City

Clean room and facilities in all fairness.

I stayed at Red Planet Hotel in Clark, Angeles City for one week with my husband and son. I want to start by saying that the front desk ladies, the security guards, and the gentleman who escorted us to our room and showed us how to turn on the air conditioner were all kind, friendly, professional, and attentive. They were the best part of our stay. Unfortunately, everything else was very disappointing. Our room did not have a mini refrigerator or a luggage rack, and it was extremely small for three people with three suitcases. We could barely move around. Housekeeping was very poor. During our entire one-week stay, our room was cleaned only once. We often had to leave our trash outside the door because no one came to collect it. Our towels, bed sheets, and blankets were never changed, we ran out of toilet paper without anyone replacing it, and the floor remained dirty throughout our stay. My husband accidentally spilled coffee on the bed sheets and pillowcase. We took full responsibility and paid to have the bed sheets and pillowcase professionally cleaned along with our own laundry. They were returned clean. Later, we simply requested a clean pillowcase, but the hotel still charged us for it, which we felt was unreasonable. The TV in our room did not work. There were only two electrical outlets in the entire room, and none in the bathroom. The room only had a tiny hanging rack, and the hangers provided didn’t even fit on it. The location was another disappointment. Although the hotel appears to be very close to SM City Clark, there are no sidewalks, making it unsafe to walk because of the heavy traffic. To reach the mall safely, you have to go all the way around, so we ended up paying for transportation even though the mall was only a short distance away. The hotel also does not include breakfast. Another disappointment was that Agoda’s photos show a swimming pool. My son was excited to swim, but when we asked about it, one of the housekeepers told us there was no pool. We never saw one during our stay, so the photos were very misleading. I booked this hotel because of the many positive reviews about the service and cleanliness, but our experience was completely different. I give 5 stars to the front desk staff, the security guards, and the gentleman who welcomed us to our room because they provided outstanding customer service. Unfortunately, the hotel itself did not meet our expectations. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. I will never stay at this hotel again, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained place to stay.

The room is very clean, however the space is very small and there is no free toothbrush. Nonetheless, I would stay here again.

The hotel rooms don't have any cloth storage areas and To contact reception there are no phones you have to use the app or go down every time to see them when there busy. They have old school air conditioner which work ok but it lets all road noise in .Clean an reasonble price . Overall star rating 3 .
