    The front desk staff were very helpful even though we didn't speak the same language. They were good with electronic translator that help us with a couple of things. Such as ordering delivery takeout food.

    Dear Agoda Customer Service, I am writing to lodge a complaint regarding my recent hotel booking in Xi'an. I am formally writing to lodge a complaint regarding my recent hotel booking in Xi'an. The location advertised on Agoda was misleading. Based on the listing, the hotel appeared to be close to major tourist attractions, particularly the Muslim Quarter, where we planned to have easy access to halal food and sightseeing. However, upon arrival, we discovered that the hotel was actually around 15–20 minutes away by taxi or Didi, which is far from what was advertised. As we were only staying in Xi'an for two days, this inaccurate information caused significant inconvenience and stress. Instead of being able to walk or make short trips to the attractions, we had to spend additional time travelling by taxi to almost every destination. This also resulted in unexpected transportation costs throughout our stay. Had the true location been accurately represented, I would have chosen a different hotel that was genuinely close to the city centre and the Muslim Quarter. I believe the Agoda listing was misleading and did not accurately reflect the hotel's actual location. I therefore request appropriate compensation for the inconvenience, additional transportation expenses, and the negative impact this had on our short visit.
