When her husband inherited Malberg Castle without the funds to complete and maintain it, she played a decisive role in securing its future. By founding the Malberg Ironworks—supported by her family’s wealth and technical expertise—she ensured the castle’s prosperity. At the same time, she personally oversaw the castle’s completion, added the summer terrace, and designed the circular garden—all while raising fourteen children.
