About this house rental
This peaceful accommodation offers a relaxing stay for the whole family in the heart of the Périgord Noir with the Dordogne valley and its famous castles.
The house is located in a quiet hamlet, near the greenway that connects Sarlat and Souillac, perfect for walks or bike rides. The village of Carsac-Aillac with all its shops (bakery, butcher, bar, restaurants) is a 15-minute walk away.
On the first floor, you will find a fully equipped kitchen, a large living room. You will also find a bedroom with a queen size bed and a bathroom. The second floor is divided into two parts, which can be accessed by two different staircases. Going up the first floor, you will find a bedroom with a king size bed and an en-suite bathroom. Going up the second staircase you will find a bedroom with two single beds.
Outside you will find a large garden, a covered area for outdoor dining.
There is also a desk at your disposal, with an electric sit-stand desk in the dovecote which is next to the covered area.
Bedding and towels are provided.
Only 8 km from the charming medieval town of Sarlat-la-Canéda where you can discover the gastronomic heritage of the Périgord and the weekly markets.
The region offers many activities: canoeing, tree climbing park, visits to prehistoric caves and castles.
