About this villa rental
Just 150 metres from the sea in the most sought after area of Kalamar Bay, Villa Manzara has spectacular views from every bedroom.
We love waking in the morning to a direct view of the sea and mountains, and hope you will too!
Less than a 5 min walk and you can simply dive in the turquoise calm sea for a relaxed swim.
Villa Manzara is a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom home with
- 2 lounges
- 2 dining terraces, giving you the freedom to choose how and where your group would like to eat, drink and relax. Either small group under the bougainvillea or larger group next to the bbq.
- relaxed seating areas both on the roof terrace, and in a shaded area by the pool, on your own balcony, as well as sun loungers and beanbags. It is very spacious.
The villa is of exceptional quality with travertine marble terraces, private pool with large sunbathing area, contemporary furnishings and high quality appliances.
The views are stunning from every floor, window and balcony of the villa.
Within a 5 min walk is the sea with 3 beach clubs:
- Kalamar (for families)
- Lures Hotel (for 5* luxury)
- Kulube Hotel (for a quiet chilled vibe in a pretty bay).
5 min drive to the the old town and harbour.
There are plenty of great restaurants and a supermarket nearby, and we provide a local Turkish mobile for easy contact with taxis when you're 'out and about'
If you are keen on nature, the villa is by the Lycian Way which provides miles of picturesque walking trails.
The villa is maintained by an English/Turkish company, who keep our home in perfect condition, with a pool guy visiting at least once per day.
We provide a Turkish mobile phone with all useful telephone numbers for our agent, taxis, restaurants, gulet cruises as well as the doctor and the dentist.
The villa has full wifi.

Lounge with 42in flat screen TV, satellite, & table football. Direct access to the pool.
Large twin bedroom with patio doors, giving direct access to the pool area with shaded seating outside. Adjacent shower room.
Utility areas housing washing machine, clothes line, iron and board, vacuum cleaner and safe.
ENTRANCE LEVEL:
Main entrance door to the villa.

Lounge: two large comfy sofas, speaker, books, games and binoculars.
Fully equipped kitchen with marble worktops. 2 dining terraces, one smaller under bougainvillea, one for larger groups seating up to 8 people with bbq.

Master bedroom with larger european kingsize bed, balcony with stunning sea views. En-suite shower room.
Twin bedroom with front picture window overlooking the sea and side patio doors leading to balcony.
Travertine marble bathroom with bath and overhead shower.

European king size bedroom, patio doors with direct access to large roof terrace and stunning panoramic views.
En-suite bathroom with shower.
The roof terrace with Turkish seating and relaxed bean bags can also be accessed via a separate door outside the bedroom.
OUTSIDE AT VILLA MANZARA:
There are so many different areas outside at Villa Manzara. Everyone can have a space to call their own.
The terraced garden areas are filled with fruit trees, beautiful Mediterranean plants and bougainvillea. Great for picking a lemon for G&T or some rosemary for lamb on the bbq!
The spacious private pool terrace has 6 sun-loungers, parasols and 2 outdoor bean bags.
There is also a relaxed seating area with a sofa, chairs and table in the shade.
The two dining terraces give you flexible dining options to suit your group.
The BBQ terrace, with local stone built BBQ, has a low Turkish style seating area.
The large roof terrace has Turkish style seating across two of the corners, making for a great after dinner social area while watching the sunset or even the shooting stars!
If that is not enough, you can always retire to your own balcony and watch the gulets out at sea.
Villa Manzara is on a quiet street Kalamar Bay.
The centre of Kalkan is 5 min by car, taxi or local dolmus bus. However, locally there are some really fabulous restaurants if your group want to stay local. There is also an option to book a private chef to cook for you as another option.
As well as the local beach and beach clubs the famous 18km Patara Beach is a 15 min drive away. Kaputas Beach, equally famous is also a 10 min drive. Both beaches and the local town of Kas, and Fethiye farther afield can be reached by bus, taxi or car.
SPECIAL INTEREST HOLIDAYS:
Kalkan and the surrounding areas have an abundance of ancient historical sites such as Xanthos and Patara. It is an ideal place to come to for walking/hiking holidays (all walks on the Lycian Way are clearly marked). The gorge at Saklikent provides another area for walking, river tubing or rafting. For those who love a real adventure, there is paragliding from the top of the mountain in Kas, and as well as mountain biking and quad biking nearby.
The villages surrounding Kalkan are well worth a visit. Some local villages also have wonderful restaurants with locally cooked specialities. They have stunning views across both Kalkan and Patara. There really is no better place to dine and watch the sunset!

The villa was exactly as described. We loved the accomodations, the pool, and all the different outdoor spaces. The hosts.were very hospitable, even leaving us fresh food and wine in the kitchen, and letting us stay past check-out time because there wasn't another booking after ours. We had a lovely time, and we would happily rent this property again.

Communication with Denise prior to our arrival was second to none she was very informative with lots of information and recommendations. We found the ‘bat phone’ very useful with all its pre-stored numbers for taxis and local restaurants. Denise very kindly offered us an early check in so when we arrived at 5.30am we welcomed the goodies that had been provided. The villa was absolutely immaculate and had everything we needed. Denise had even ordered in some of my favourite Turkish shampoo and conditioner!!!As a party of 8 there were plenty of seating areas to break off to or sit as a family. The pool area attracted the sun for most of the day so the umbrellas were a welcome addition. The man who came to clean the pool was lovely.We did have a couple of small maintenance issues during our stay but these were dealt with quickly and efficiently by Elena.This was our second trip so we already knew we loved the area it but the real star of the holiday was Villa Manazara. We have just spent 10 days making the most amazing memories and we are already discussing returning next year.If you are already considering Villa Manzara, just book it - you will not be disappointed!!So, a massive thank you to Denise and David for allowing us to stay in their beautiful villa ….. until the next time

We had a lovely stay at this villa. The host was so helpful giving us lots of useful information and very organised with everything. The villa itself was spotlessly clean and very well stocked with everything you might need in the kitchen and a BBQ. The are several terraces with stunning views and seating. The pool is a good size and deep. No shallow end so may not be suitable for very young children. Someone came every day to clean the pool and surrounding area and sheets and towels were changed mid-stay so we felt very spoilt. We had a really great stay.

Villa Manzara.... What can i say, we loved our holiday here, We had a week on our own just 2 of us, So much space then our grown up children arrived with there partners for the 2nd week still so much space.We all had a great time, my daughters boyfriend proposed to her on the boat trip, celebrated my sons birthday, so many memories made here.All the rooms were decorated beautifully, every window as a beautiful sea view, the roof terrace is amazing,the colour of the flowers just beautiful, lovely pool all to ourselves was amazing. The pool man brought us fresh bread most days a lovely chap, I love table football this was a plus. The kitchen was great, everything you need and a great water machine, was lovely to get there and have food and drink in the fridge.We went into Kalkan most nights, we used whatsapp to the taxi driver, he had a 6 seater that was ideal for us all, we had a moped if we wanted to nip out in the day, not for everyone just took our time, then a car to visit the waterfall which we loved and patara beach.Thank you Denise for thinking of everything and your communication was fantastic, hightly reccommended.
