Sciesa Home Verona

Great location about 15 min walk from train station and 5 min to old gate into Piazza Bra. Quiet street with restaurants nearby. Great to have washing machine. Pleasant view onto terraces and rooftops from living room window. Aircon efficient.

Not a dislike but the kitchen would benefit from an extractor over the cook top although this might difficult in old buildings like this.

I wouldn’t say didn’t like but the only thing I’d change is to add mood lighting. There are two lamps in the bedroom which is great but the living room/kitchen area there is no option to put less bright lights on. When relaxing in the evening it would have been nice to switch a floor light on or under kitchen counter lights. Just so it didn’t feel so bright. We ended up bringing a lamp in from the bedroom. Again not an issue as we never watched the TV but I’d say better to be placed on the living room/kitchen area than the bedroom.

Just returned from a lovely weeks break in Verona. The apartment was superb - very clean and new inside and very comfortable. Finished to a very good standard that looks really new and fresh and had everything we needed for a superb city break. Lovely bathroom with huge power shower and plenty hot water. Air conditioning super easy to control and really comfy huge bed. 2 balconies one with seating for having coffees or drinks in the evening overlooking the side street which is a typical city centre outlook. The apartment is even better than the photographs manage to capture. Easy secure access into the building and apartment accessed via a lift or stairs - all felt secure and clean The location was excellent being 5 mins walk from main Arena and easily connected with local buses etc. Everything easily accessed with the main train / bus station only 10 / 15 mins away by bus - the buses were many and often and we bought 7 day tourist bus passes for 44 euro each which even covered the bus from the airport to the city centre and then all round the Verona / Lake Garda area. The ATV (bus operators) app was very good for planning journeys. The host was very genuine, extremely helpful and pro active. Provided really easy instructions to get into the apartment and clear and friendly recommendations, help and guidance on everything from operating the facilities to providing lots of tips and recommendations for supermarkets, various restaurants etc. No hesitation in recommending this apartment to friends and fellow travellers and we would certainly return to this apartment again if in the area.

Nothing to say all very positive for us

We were self catering, excellent supermarket nearby. The Location was very good for shops, restaurants and the City Centre. The apartment was spacious and quiet. Very comfortable bed. Air-conditioning and heating available. Kitchen well appointed. All appliances including washing machine and dishwasher all in good order. Excellent bathroom and shower, all brand new. Two small balconies overlooking street. Sufficient storage. Nice lounge area with sofa bed.

Some confusion on arrival. We had to wait some time for the owner to bring us the keys, we were not even able to leave our cases on the premises. Good thing it wasnt raining. Our only minor observation is about the very harsh, bright lighting in both rooms. We bought a little table lamp for the lounge area for a more relaxing space.
