B&B La Collina degli Ulivi

A truly pleasant stay in a very quiet area, with a large park nearby and private parking available directly at the property. The hosts were extremely kind, welcoming and helpful. They gave me plenty of useful tips about places to visit and how to spend my time in the surrounding area. I was also very pleasantly surprised by the tasteful way the property was decorated, the impeccable cleanliness and the daily attention to detail. The room was cleaned every day and the towels were regularly refreshed. Breakfast included a €5 voucher per day, which could be used at a café located about a ten-minute walk away. I did not see this as an inconvenience at all. On the contrary, it gave me the opportunity to enjoy a pleasant walk through the neighbourhood, greet the locals and even exchange a few words in Italian. Overall, this was one of the most enjoyable travel experiences I have had in recent times, and I would gladly return. Our stay at B&B La Collina degli Ulivi was excellent, and we highly recommend it. Initially, we had some confusion regarding the breakfast arrangements because the information on Booking.com was not completely clear. However, Booking.com’s customer service responded promptly and worked closely with the hosts to resolve the issue. We really appreciated the cooperation and professionalism from everyone involved. The property itself is wonderful. Our room was very spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully maintained. The modern bathroom was excellent, and every area of the property was clean, tidy, and well cared for. The hosts, Giovanni and Simona, were truly exceptional. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Even though we only shared a little common language, we enjoyed many long and friendly conversations. Their kindness and genuine hospitality made our stay even more memorable. One evening, while I was relaxing at a nearby bar, Giovanni called me and said, “Ajith, there’s a chance of hail tonight. If you’d like, you can park your car in my garage.” That thoughtful gesture perfectly reflects the kind of people they are—always caring and looking after their guests. The location is peaceful and quiet, away from the busy city, in a lovely neighborhood. Just a 2-3 minute walk away, there is a nice bar next to a large park that stays open until late in the evening. We spent several enjoyable evenings there, and it added even more value to our stay. One of the nicest surprises was the local community. Every time we went for a walk, we met friendly people who were happy to chat and always willing to help. It made us feel at home. Thank you, Giovanni and Simona, for your warm hospitality. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend B&B La Collina degli Ulivi to anyone visiting the Bologna area.
