The location is good, not to far from Matsue Castle and Shimane Art Museum we planned to visit. The interior is new and modern. Their laundry machine is the best we had on our 20 days road trip. A washer and dryer combo unit make washing clothes more easy. Even though the hotel does not provide parking, but there are a lot of coin parking within one or two block distance. It is not hard to find a parking with reasonable price.
For the room that we picked, it has all glass window on one side of the room. I think it is the combine reasons of the all window wall, the heat from the lightings in the room and the location of the air conditioner, we felt the room was warm all the time, even we set the air conditioner to lowest temperature setting. We stayed there on August, and I am no sure would the all glass window cause the room cold in winter.

設備が整っており、洗濯乾燥機があるので助かる。備品も予備などもあり、清掃も行き届いている。
繁華街なので駐車場が高い。ベッドが柔らかすぎて腰が痛かった。

水郷祭の花火を見るために松江に2泊しましたが、このアークホテルからは花火が見える川沿いに徒歩すぐで(有料観覧席がある宍道湖大橋のひとつ東側の松江大橋の辺りでも花火は十二分にたのしめました！)、花火打ち上げ開始の前にゆっくりと鑑賞スポットに向かうことができた。帰りもものすごく楽だった。
部屋が広々としていてインテリアのセンスも良く、電子レンジや大きな冷蔵庫があり、疲れた時に外食をしないで済んだ。
203号室だったが、ベッドの枕側に窓があり、その窓の外に上の階のエアコン室外機排水用ドレンホースがあり、その排水音がポタポタと耐えることなく聞こえて、夜中に目が覚めて眠れなくなるほどだった。
ドレンホースが短すぎるのが原因では？と思う。
2泊目はたまたま上の階のエアコンが使われておらず、眠ることができた。
とても細かいことだが、備え付けの食器を使った後、洗おうとした時に「食器洗い用洗剤」が水で薄められた状態でスポンジが全く泡立たなかった。おそらく前の宿泊者の時から薄まった状態だったのではないか？容器を持つと水が入った分重さがあるので、まだ残量がたっぷりあると、管理者側は思ってしまったのではないか？ちょっと困った。
また、ホットコーヒー用に、ノズルが細い電気湯沸かしポットがあったのは嬉しかったが、食器は水やジュース用のプラスチックタンブラーしかなく、せっかくのレギュラーコーヒーを楽しめなかった。
廉価品でいいので、温かい飲み物用のマグカップなども備え付けてあれば、より嬉しかった。
