Homey Private Room in Stellenberg

The shower was amazing! Bed was also good, but not the pillows. It was close to the venue I had to be.

The room really smelt bad - even the bedding smelt like smoke. The pathway to the back where the room was located, was not maintained and overgrown. It was raining and by the time I got to my car, my left side was wet from the overgrown bushes I had to pass to get to my parking. The uneven bricks is also a trip hazard. Thank goodness my car was small, as the in and out pass the owner's car was quite daunting. The pillows were old and lumpy. The extra plug I requested did not work. As you make your way up the path and around the house, there is a dilapidated wendy house. When the occupants of the house left for the long weekend, it was extremely scary coming around that corner in the dark at night - very limited light. I did not feel safe. I could not use all the drawers in the wardrobe, as there was stuff stored in there. Forcing me to have to keep bags and shoes in the already really small space that is the room. It is basically a room right off the main house's kitchen - so I could hear dishes being packed away and the little one's crying and calling for mommy.
