This was an excellent and affordable place for my husband and I to stay while we were doing the mountain biking in this town. The rooms were clean and spacious enough for Japanese standards (my 6'3" husband really enjoyed the high ceilings). The private bathroom was well furnished with a bathtub and shower. Booking a room means you also have access to the shared common space--which comes with full kitchen lots of couches/armchairs to relax. The entire area is also a little more secluded and relaxing. Which was perfect after coming from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and Kyoto
But where this place really shone was the staff. The owner was super kind and accommodating and gave us a tour of the co-working space. When our flight was delayed, they worked with us so we could stay an extra day. The owner even used his personal vehicle to drive us to our train station so we wouldn't have to take a taxi! My husband and I both had a wonderful experience and we definitely would stay again next time we're in the area for mountain biking!
