Alley Suites - New Studio in Gudja by SF Homes

Location was perfect for exploring the southern part of Malta, a bus stop pretty much on the doorstep or a short walk to the airport (less than 10 mins) where buses take you all over the island. The apartment is modern but still retains character, it has been renovated to a very high standard with a well equipped kitchen/living room area, great bathroom, plenty of storage in the bedroom and two (much needed) aircon units to keep the apartment cool. Very close proximity to the airport, you can watch the planes take off above the neighbouring buildings. Gudja is a quiet beautiful town its a welcome return each evening to the clam and tranquillity of this area, I was solo for part of my trip and felt completely safe in this area and at this apartment, I would definitely return.

Because everything was so perfect I hate to add a negative, but I felt the quality of the bed linen let the apartment down a little. I would expect high thread count 100% cotton bed linen in a property of this standard which would also be more comfortable in the heat, and also as I stayed for 11 nights - a change of bed linen would have been welcome. 4 coffee pods provided are great for a 1 to 2 night stay, but would be useful if a cafetiere was provided for coffee for guests staying longer - not really a problem as I managed to find one my first day at a nearby shop, but thought it was worth a mention.
