It was absolutely spotless like brand new. Very modern. For a family of four it was ok for one night but any longer you probably need two rooms. There is nothing else on the ‘resort’ to do so it’s just a room but not far from the old town.

It doesn’t have a lot of character which was ok for us as was a stopover but might disappoint some people if expectations for a Japanese experience!

You get all you need for a very competitive price. The bed and sofa are comfy. Plenty of parking spots are available. Cleanliness was excellent. Takayama is a brilliant destination with lovely food, shopping and sightseeing. The tranquil neighbourhood is a plus for a relaxing stay.

I hope they will provide a taller, larger dining table. Wifi was slow. The bathroom lacks hooks and space for personal items (the wardrobe was too small too). There are frosted films on the window that block the view. The staff are polite, but they have limited English proficiency. You would definitely need a car to access the accommodation. The car park has no lights at night.

La struttura non si trova su Google e l’indirizzo di booking mi dava un errore da correggere quindi non è mai stato molto comodo trovare il modo di tornare in hotel quando si usciva É lontano da qualunque cosa, il primo supermercato è a 12 minuti a piedi, la stazione a 30 e il centro storico a 20 Passa solo un autobus che però noi non abbiamo mai preso Senza macchina non é comodo anche perché la città non è ben predisposta a passeggiate serali essendo tutto spento e chiuso Non c’è un posto dove far scolare i piatti, ho dovuto usare un asciugamano del bagno Io microonde ha solo scritte in giapponese quindi non facile capire come farlo funzionare La struttura non offre alcun servizio
