The Old Stables, Near Mitton Hall

Lovely garden and bedroom suite.

My only criticism would be that the kitchen facilities were limited in terms of cooking utensils.

Secluded and surrounded by lovely countryside, horses nearby, clean and spacious and well equipped. Tasteful and homely.

Overlooks what looks like the family garden and children’s climbing frames - we didn’t see anyone at all but didn’t want to feel we were encroaching, although great view and sheep grazing nearby. Maybe some privacy window stickers would be appropriate? Just a thought, literally the only thing I thought of as worth mentioning!

This place felt like a home from home! So much detail in making it a lovely place to stay, like a mini welcome sleep pack, and fluffy towels that smelt amazing! Its spacious but cosy, the bed is so comfortable! Nice big TV and comfy sofas, and a kitchen so you can cook too. Its a great place either to just get away from the stress of life for a few days, or as a base to go and explore the area. The hosts were friendly and got a good balance between checking in to make sure everything was ok, and leaving you to get on with it/please yourself.

There wasn't much to dislike! I'd say maybe add a pizza cutter to the cutlery drawer but that's just a suggestion!
