Notting Hill Studio Walk to Portobello Market

La ubicación estaba muy bien, bastante cerca de dos paradas de metro y autobuses (nos costó menos de 10 minutos llegar al apartamento desde la parada del metro) El alojamiento en si era cómodo, limpio, bien decorado y tenía de todo, lo cual hizo la estancia bastante más agradable. Lo único malo que le vi es, como ya se veía en las fotos, que el espacio entre la cama y el techo era bastante pequeño. Igual una persona alta tendría problemas, para nosotros no hubo problema. Gracias A Beatriz por sus consejos y ayuda mientras estábamos allí.

Fantastic location with good restaurants nearby and good access to public transport. Beatrix was a great communicator and checked that all was well

The bed area is as described and is in a sort of mezzanine with very little head room. Couldn't sit upright in the bed without hitting head which was just about ok for us but would be difficult for some. Kitchen had all the facilities that were advertised but was a very small space

We had a very pleasant stay. The location was excellent, within walking distance of many major attractions, shops, and several metro stations, making it very easy to get around the city. The studio was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The ceiling is a bit low, but it wasn't an issue for us. We stayed during a heat wave, so we really appreciated having a fan available. It was also very convenient to have access to a kitchenette and a refrigerator to keep drinks and water cold. The host was very responsive and kindly allowed us to check in a little earlier as soon as the studio had been cleaned and prepared.

There were a few things that could be improved. First, it appeared that the window could not be locked. Since the apartment is located on the first floor, this raised some safety concerns, although the neighborhood itself felt very safe. The kitchenette was well equipped with cooking utensils, baking pans, and even a variety of spices. However, we were not able to find basic items such as plates, mugs, or glasses. The listing photos also suggested that guests would find cookies, tea, and Nescafé available. During our stay, however, there were only tea bags, one sachet of Nescafé, and one package of Biscoff biscuits, which appeared to be leftovers from previous guests. While these amenities are not essential, the photos created different expectations. Finally, the check-out process could have been handled more professionally. At 9:38 a.m., with less than 30 minutes’ notice, we received a message informing us that the landlord would need to enter the apartment between 10:00 and 10:30 to check the electricity. Since this occurred on the day of our check-out, the inspection could easily have been scheduled after 11:00 a.m., once we had left. Then, just a few minutes before 11:00 a.m., while we were taking our luggage out, someone rang the doorbell. We later learned that they were the next guests arriving to leave their luggage. Although this may have been well intentioned, guests should be able to enjoy the accommodation until the advertised check-out time without interruptions.

The host was nice and accomodating. The metro is closeby and there is a very nice breakfast place nearby.

It was too hot. I asked beforehand if there was airconditioning and mentioned I don’t do well with heat. The host assured me it would not get hot. It became véry warm and humid, despite the ventilators. I wouldnt recommend this place in summer. Also its quite small and the ceiling upstairs is very low. The toilet takes forever to fill up with water again. You hear neighbours running up and down the stars.
