Peaceful and spacious 2 bed/2 bath lakefront home in a private gated community in Columbia. Surrounded by trees, birds, and a beautiful garden, this nature-inspired retreat offers comfort and privacy while staying close to everything. Minutes from Fort Jackson, VA, Congaree National Park and Williams-Brice Stadium. Perfect for a relaxing stay, military visit, or game weekend.
🛏️ Bedrooms:
The primary bedroom features a king bed, vanity, private balcony, and a private en-suite bathroom.
The second bedroom includes a queen bed with Jack-and-Jill style bathroom access.
Both bedrooms feature walk-in closets and 40” TVs.
A queen air mattress is available upon request.
🛋️ Living Room:
The living room includes a large sectional sofa, a gas fireplace, and a large 55” TV with cable access through Spectrum.
All TVs in the home come pre-equipped with HBO Max, Hulu, Disney+, Paramount+, Peacock, and ESPN.
🍽️ Kitchen:
The large kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, dishes, basic cooking utensils, and essential appliances. A separate dining room provides dedicated seating for meals.
🧺 Laundry:
A private washer and dryer are also included, with laundry detergent provided for guest use.
🎣 Fun + 🧩 Games:
Guests can enjoy the lake with provided fishing poles (2) and access to a paddle boat. For inside fun, a selection of board games, puzzles, and playing cards can be found.

This place is a gem! Though new(ish) to the VRBO platform, Catherine is an experienced host. I appreciated so many things about this host and rental: Prompt and helpful communication. The house being thoroughly cleaned. The amazing view of the lake from the master suite, living room, and dining room. Comfortable seating areas inside and out. A well-equipped kitchen. Fun decor and beautiful plants. There is a lot to see and do in Columbia, and this was an ideal base: close to downtown, Congaree NP, and the airport. Would definitely stay here again!

If you are looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay while exploring Congaree National Park, this lakeside home is an excellent choice. Less than 30 minutes drive from both the Visitor Center and Cedar Creek Landing, the location is convenient to grocery stores and a variety of restaurants as well as to Columbia. The house is well appointed with thoughtful details, like luggage racks, bedside electrical outlets, high-end bathroom products and nice kitchen tools. There is plenty of space to spread out between two large closets and lots of free countertops in the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry area. Living houseplants, hardwood floors with soft rugs and lovely, fun decorations all contribute to a homey feel. The two decks were wonderful places to relax and enjoy what nature brought into view. Communication with the host was excellent with clear instructions and quick response times. We had a wonderful stay!
