About this house rental
Na Palada could also be something for colourful birds, and not just when it comes to finding a well-padded nest for the night. Echoes of flower power and the rounded, slightly psychedelic seventies are undeniable and have given the house a few bright splashes of colour that really spice up the look of the dark wood and old stone walls. Despite the rustic touch, the interior feels light and airy, not least thanks to the huge windows overlooking the garden, pool and terrace, which let in plenty of light. Although there is only one double bedroom, one or two lightweight children are guaranteed to love the fact that they can float from the open kitchen into the bed under the roof and make themselves comfortable under the low beamed ceiling. And for those who are early risers, you might want to run into town in the morning and come back with breakfast...
Artà ante portas! Houses, shops, cafés and restaurants in narrow streets (romantically lit up in the evening) huddle around a hill with a fortified fortress. You can even walk there, stroll through the galleries and craft shops and enjoy an ice cream in the shady courtyards. The view from Calvary shows you 25 kilometres of unspoilt coastline and countless beaches. Witnesses to history such as the mighty caves of Artà, Torre de Canyamel, Far de Capdepera or the imposing Castell de Capdepera are also exciting for children. And if you want to go even further, you should hike through the region around Betlem and Colònia de Sant Pere or immerse yourself in the different shades of blue of the Badia d'Alcúdia all the way to Port de Pollença.
With a magnificent view of the Calvary of Artà and only 2 km from the village, you can stay here in rural tranquillity and beautiful nature: the small guest house Na Palada is the colourful extension of a villa over 100 years old, inhabited by the landlords themselves. Artà offers everything a holidaymaker's heart desires (including a very popular weekly market); via the MA-15 you can quickly reach Cala Ratjada and the natural beach of Cala Agulla or the wide sandy beach of Cala Torta. Heading north, you can easily drive towards Can Picafort and Alcúdia.
