Nestled in a secluded forest, this space is perfect for a getaway from the city. Several kilometers of trails to explore the 100 acres on the rolling hills of the Oak Ridges moraine. The building has a newly renovated interior with a woodstove and kitchenette. Decorated with an eclectic selection of art and furniture. The lodge provides a comfortable stay for up to 4 guests, a screened in porch with BBQ, table and chairs provide a relaxing bug free outdoor experience.
The space
Located on the Lishman Property on the edge of the Oak Ridges moraine, this property was featured in the Hollywood film "Fly Away Home".
The lodge offers space for a private country getaway for up to 4 guests. Located on the unique Lishman property an hour from Toronto, it features an airy open concept design, a kitchenette, dining area with table and chairs, bathroom with composting toilet and a living room with wood stove (wood included). Enjoy the outdoors from a newly added screened in porch with BBQ, table and chairs. Featuring art from many Canadian artists, the theme is trappers lodge, and features one of a kind beaver fur covered couch and loveseat! Guest may enjoy the responsible use of the outdoor fire pit for memorable campfires. Natural beauty abounds, a perfect place to hike and explore.
Please note there is no running water. There is a composting toilet and wash basin. An outdoor shower is available during summer months. Drinking and washing water provided in jugs.
