Indoor heated swimming pool (9m x 6m, depth 1m-2m, open 9am-10pm, closed Friday mornings for cleaning) with Jacuzzi section and changing facilities. Children’s play area. Tennis court. Electric car charging point. Bike store. Private parking. No smoking. Please note: There are steps in the grounds.. Number Eight provides spacious reverse-level accommodation, featuring bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground floor, while the open-plan living space is on the first floor. On-site facilities include an indoor swimming pool with a hot tub and a children’s paddling pool. The property is surrounded by 5 acres of grounds, and on the top grassy area beyond the woodland, there is a goal for any budding Beckhams. Tennis enthusiasts can enjoy the free all-weather court on-site. The cottages are arranged around a central courtyard, equipped with barbecues and tables for alfresco entertaining. In the woods, there’s a lovely barbecue cabin that can be hired. During the winter months, guests can stay cosy and warm by cooking around the fire, while in the summer, they can spill out onto the outdoor seating area. Pizza lovers will appreciate the regular weekly mobile pizza night brought to the courtyard by a local pizza expert.

Barnstaple, the regional capital, provides a taste of North Devon life with its charming streets and riverfront. The town also offers a leisure centre with a swimming pool, a purpose-built tennis centre with indoor and outdoor courts, an indoor trampoline centre, and Rock Park. The location is ideal for exploring North Devon and its attractions, including Exmoor National Park with its magical night skies. Families have plenty of options, such as Exmoor Zoo, Milky Way Adventure Park, The Big Sheep farm-themed park, and more.
