The apartment is located on the 1st floor and has a balcony in the inner courtyard. On site there is fast WiFi, a washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen.
The apartment has a comfortable bedroom with a double bed. The bathroom is renovated and comfortable. There is also a washing machine. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large oven and hobs. In the living room there is a sofa bed and a large smart TV. The dining table is large and comfortable.

The apartment is at heart of the city and at the surrounding area you can find restaurants ,cafe, club, shops, super market, kiosk, archaeological museum, banks, car rental office, travel agency, pharmacy, traditional market.
From the airport the apartment is 20 minutes away by bus and the port about 10 minutes by foot. Near the room (5minutes) there is the central bus station for the city buses and the station for the buses, that go around the island, is 10 minutes away. The taxi station is also 5 minutes away.
The apartment is just 2 minutes from the Lions Square and the heart of the city where you will find restaurants, cafes, shops, supermarkets as well as the historical monuments Loggia, Basilica of St. Markou, church of Ag. Titus and the archaeological museum of Heraklion.
In just 10 minutes on foot you are on the northern coastline of Crete and the historic Koule castle.
The nearest bus stop is only 5 minutes away, from where there are buses to and from the airport as well as to all the beaches of the northern part of the prefecture.

The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable- don’t be put off by the external appearance of the building. It’s in a great location within an easy walking distance of the town, Port and bus stop to catch a bus to Knossos with a supermarket next door. There is cheap paid parking at the P1 Port nearby but be warned it is an uphill walk from there to the apartment. There is valet parking closer but it’s quite a bit more expensive. We appreciated the treats left for us including a bottle of wine. We also enjoyed a lovely meal in a restaurant nearby called Anchorage which was the only non smoking restaurant we have encountered in 3 months of travelling! We would highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Heraklion.
