About this house rental
The White House is a classic stucco bungalow on a quiet corner lot in historic “Old Town” Grand Junction. The home has an open floor plan, high ceilings, wood and tile flooring, and features southwestern landscapes by photographer Curtis Martin, with living room, dining room and spacious kitchen flowing easily together.
The dining table seats six, and the roomy kitchen area features modern appliances, counter seating, a dedicated workspace, a game table, and a large picture window looking onto the back yard. An induction stovetop and stainless cookware heat food and water safely and easily. Filtered drinking water and ice are readily available.
All bedrooms include closets and dressers as well as luggage stands. Two bedrooms with Tempur-pedic queen beds open off a short hallway in the front of the house. The shared full bath between features a whirlpool tub and double sinks. The third bedroom in the back of the house includes a full/twin bunk set and opens onto the back patio; this room can also double as a private office with computer desk. A ¾ bath and large closet with dresser are down a short flight of stairs.
The lower level den features a 65” LG television with sound system, and comfortable seating.
Also on the lower level are full laundry facilities including a deep sink, ironing board, iron, and fabric steamer. A bonus fridge/freezer provides space for cold drinks and snacks.
For your comfort, the house comes with radiant hot water heat in cold weather and evaporative cooling when it’s warm out.
The private back patio includes a table and chairs and a custom charcoal grill.
The large carport keeps two vehicles out of the weather. Large, mature trees provide shade and help cool the house in summer.
Guest access
The entire property is available to guests with the exception of the garage. Ample covered parking is available in the off-street carport.
Unfortunately the indoor fireplace is non-functional; please don't try to use it.
