The Space:
This welcoming two-bedroom apartment in Plymouth offers a comfortable and convenient base for your stay. Ideally positioned just off aptly named Chapel Street, the building sits opposite the historic St Aubyn’s Church, giving the property a charming setting while remaining close to local amenities and transport links.
Both bedrooms are thoughtfully furnished, with one king and one double, each benefiting from its own bathroom. Of which, one is an ensuite with a shower and WC, while the other family bathroom has a bath with overhead shower and WC. There is also ample storage space throughout, making it easy to settle in and feel at home during longer stays.
At the heart of the apartment is the bright open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The well-equipped kitchen includes modern appliances such as a microwave, dishwasher and blender, along with a handy breakfast bar for casual dining. The space flows into a comfortable dining area, complete with a keyboard for those who enjoy playing music, before opening into a relaxing lounge.
Sink into the super-comfortable sofa and unwind with a film on the smart TV after a day exploring the city and waterfront. The apartment also benefits from private parking for one vehicle, with additional visitor spaces available and free on-street parking, making arrival and day trips stress-free.
Single level home accessed via a lift or stairs. However, the lift is currently broken and awaiting repair (25th Feb, 2026).

The Neighborhood:
Plymouth offers a fantastic mix of coastline, culture and countryside, making it an ideal base for a varied holiday. Just nearby, Royal William Yard is a vibrant waterfront destination filled with restaurants, wine bars, pubs and even a cinema - perfect for relaxed evenings out by the water. A short stroll away, Terra Nova and Elvira’s cafés are lovely spots for breakfast, brunch or coffee.
The city centre and historic Barbican area provide plenty of entertainment, from independent shops and galleries to theatres, boat trips and waterfront dining. Wander the cobbled streets, visit the Mayflower Steps, or enjoy the many cafés and bars overlooking the harbour.
For beaches and sea air, take the short ferry from the city to Mount Edgcumbe Country Park and the village of Cremyll, or continue along the coast to the charming twin villages of Cawsand and Kingsand. Nearby beaches, including Tregantle and Bovisand, are also easily reached by car, offering sandy shores, swimming and coastal walks.
Nature lovers will enjoy being just 20 minutes from Dartmoor National Park, where open moorland, tors and river valleys provide countless walking routes. Popular spots include Princetown, home to the Dartmoor Brewery, as well as traditional country pubs scattered across the moors.

Getting Around:
For those with a vehicle, parking is easy and convenient. The apartment has one private space with additional visitor spaces on a first come first serve basis. The surrounding streets are also free and unrestricted.
For those without a vehicle, Plymouth benefits from great travel connections. Train lines run from all over the country, with several stops in Plymouth itself, allowing you to easily travel around the city. Devonport station is around 15 minutes walk or a few minutes drive. From here, you can catch a train into the city centre, northwards into Devon, or west into Cornwall. Buses and taxis are also readily available.
