Things to Know:
-Cell service is very poor (please download instructions before arriving)—enjoy your boss not being able to reach you!

-Most guests are able to utilize the internet for calls, but during a short power outage, the WiFi also goes out. Sorry, but not sorry, blame Mother Nature.

-During extremely windy weather, power outages are not uncommon in the area.

-The cabin is on well water (please be responsible with water usage).

-Firewood is not generally provided. Please let me know if you’d like some provided (I will try my best, but there is no guarantee).

-The well water is equipped with a whole-home water filtration system that conducts a cleaning cycle at night. We have never had a guest complain, but you may hear the sound of water running for a short time while it cleans the filters.

-There is a gate at the entrance of the property. It is usually already open for guests, but if not, a code is provided. You are welcome to leave the gate open or lock it behind you if it makes you feel more comfortable.

-Laundry detergent, dryer sheets, etc. are not provided. If you are with us for an extended stay, let us know and I will try my best to accommodate.

-This cabin is in the mountains and in the woods. Occasionally, ants, ladybugs, beetles, etc. can find a way into the house. This isn’t the city; if you’re afraid of seeing one of these, please find a hotel in town. We keep our home extremely clean and will quickly address any concern you have about seeing bugs.
