About this house rental
Our cozy vacation home (approx. 95 m²) is situated in a quiet location in the beautiful Kaimt neighborhood—or, as they say here, “Kaamt.” Directly across the way is the small wine town of Zell an der Mosel, known for its famous “Zeller Schwarze Katz” wine.
The house accommodates 2 to 4 people and is ideal for couples or small families. You can expect modern amenities, free Wi-Fi, and a pleasant, cozy atmosphere. The kitchen is almost perfectly equipped with coffee pods, ground coffee, the corresponding machines, various types of tea, plenty of spices, different oils and vinegars, a sandwich maker, a mixer, two egg cookers, a toaster, and a dishwasher with the necessary tabs.
Water sports enthusiasts can rent a SUP and/or a two-person kayak from us at an affordable price.
Cyclists are also very welcome here—there’s a secure storage room for bicycles.
You can reach the Moselle promenade in just one minute. Cross the pedestrian bridge, and in just a few minutes you’ll be right in the heart of Zell, with cozy cafés, wine bars, restaurants, bakeries, and small shops.
For active travelers, there are numerous hiking and biking trails through the vineyards. Anglers will also find plenty to enjoy along the Moselle. A lovely destination for a day trip is Cochem with its impressive Reichsburg Castle (about 30 km away).
Frankfurt-Hahn Airport is only about 18 km away. Upon request, we’re happy to offer an affordable transfer so your trip gets off to a relaxed start.
The nearest train station is also only about 6 km away (Bullay DB), and we offer an affordable transfer from there as well upon request.
Kaamter Ferkelsmarkt Vacation Home:
You can reach the first floor of our nearly fully equipped vacation home via an outdoor staircase with five steps. There you’ll find a nearly fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, Senseo and ground-coffee coffee makers, mixer, sandwich maker, two egg cookers, stove with oven, electric kettle, toaster, plates, and silverware. Supplies include several types of oil and vinegar, as well as tea, spices, ground coffee, and coffee pods. You’ll also find a small wine barrel here, from which you’re welcome to help yourself to a glass of wine from a local winemaker at cost.
Right next to the kitchen is the living-dining room, featuring a double sleeper sofa and a satellite TV. A collection of games for cozy game nights is also available.
You can reach the first floor via a staircase. Here you’ll find the bedroom with a double bed, a reading or dressing room with a cozy armchair, and the bathroom. Here, too, you’ll find hand towels, bath towels, liquid soap, shower amenities, shampoo, and a hair dryer.
A crib and a high chair are also available upon request.
On the upper floor, a spacious sunroom awaits you, inviting you to relax even in bad weather. Enjoy the view of the Moselle from a lounge set or use the internet-enabled TV.
