Enjoy your vacation in our beautiful, quiet, ground-floor, wheelchair-accessible vacation apartment with a balcony, lake view, and wood-burning stove.
The half-timbered house is centrally located in the heart of the state-recognized resort town of Nieder-Werbe, right on Lake Eder.
You’ll have views of the lake and the forests of the Kellerwald National Park.
The apartment features a very large bedroom with a box-spring bed for 2 people (1.6 x 2.2 m; suitable for people with allergies), a kitchen, and a living room with a sleeper sofa (sleeping area 1.4 x 2 m). A very large, wheelchair-accessible bathroom with a shower, toilet, and wheelchair-accessible sink.
It also features a south-facing balcony with two large French doors.
The historic farmhouse underwent a complete renovation in 2024–25 using traditional materials and craftsmanship.
For example, the walls were finished in a traditional, breathable manner using clay and lime plaster. Inside the house, sections of historic exposed half-timbering have been revealed, allowing you to experience the building’s fascinating history.
Underfloor heating, powered by a heat pump connected to a photovoltaic system, ensures comfortable warmth.
You can store your bicycles safely and securely in the outbuilding, where e-bikes can also be charged.
The communal garden features a barbecue area with a fire pit.
Many hiking trails through the ancient beech forests of the national park start right at your doorstep and lead to the lake.
Cycling enthusiasts will find a well-developed network of bike paths.
In 2025, several spectacular green trails for mountain bikes were built right on the edge of the village.
