Take that long-awaited romantic getaway to the mountains of Whistler and call this adorable suite home for a while. With charming mountain decor, a well-equipped kitchenette, and a gas fireplace to curl up next to, you can unthaw with ease at the end of each exciting day. Whistler Peak Lodge is enviably situated in the heart of Whistler Village, with grounds that include a fitness room for your morning workouts and ski/bike storage. The Whistler Village Gondola, the Excalibur Gondola, and the Fitzsimmons Express Chairlift are all within a quarter-mile stroll. If downhill skiing isn't your activity of choice, you can snowshoe, cross country ski, or peruse the many shops and restaurants that await practically outside your door. Come summer, take your pick of gorgeous hiking and biking trails and soak up the picturesque scenery. For a bit more action, take a thrilling zipline tour with Ziptrek Encounters (home of the longest zipline in Canada and the United States), conveniently located just over half a mile away.

Easy access to the mountains and the village! I had a suite with a high ceiling! No hot tub but a bed to sleep in!

My partner and I did not enjoy our stay. The access to our room was awkward, needing to go through the spa/fitness center. The parking was a maze. The hot tub was closed for COVID, it's 2024. The fridge was not cold enough, there were only two body towels which were small. The bathtub was fine but the side was falling apart, the lights were on a weird delay. The bed was maybe a queen but we have a sneaking suspicion it was just a double and the sheets kept coming off, there was also a stain on the sheets, there was also only one nightstand which is weird. There was coffee and tea in the room, but no sugar. There were no extra linens that we could find. There was only one small trashcan under the skink.
It was also quite loud, which not the place's fault but did not add to our stay.
Pros: walkable and convenient to Whistler village, wifi was fine and free, high ceilings.
Fine if you're on a budget, but would not recommend.
