This is less of a hotel and more of an apartment, but we actually loved how quiet and private it felt. (If you like the hotel experience of room service, cleaning, etc, this place isnt for you)
We actually stayed here twice, on the 5th and 9th floors. We loved the quiet neighborhood, and loved that we had a balcony with easy access for fresh air. Laundry in the room (with free detergent included!) was a huge plus and we LOVED the lighting design (no big lights to speak of). We were able to host our friends at the sitting area in the evenings which was great since most hotels dont have any extra space at all.
The deep bath was also great since my husband has tattoos and we didn't go to any onsens.
Pro tip: Your access code will tell you your floor (we were confused bc it didn't explicitly tell us which unit we were staying in) but they are incredibly responsive and we resolved that problem almost immediately upon arrival.
We found the beds to be very comfy, though we naturally prefer a firm bed.
We are so glad we got to stay here twice, and aside from not having any amenities to speak of, it was our favorite place.

Even though this hotel is just a few blocks from busy streets, the immediate area is so quiet and serene.
Our only issue, which was quickly fixed in just a couple minutes, was figuring out which room was ours. The property manager answered us almost immediately and was very responsive. Other than that, the access is super simple and easy and we had no issues.
There is a nice deep tub, which is perfect for soaking after a long day of walking. The bathroom had a little bit of a smell, but nothing serious. Water was hot and quick.
We especially loved the ambient lighting options. The room is very spacious compared to what we have seen elsewhere, and we were even able to host friends for a late night snacks. Another thing I loved is having balcony access. We didn’t use the outdoor space really, but we loved being able to open the door and let in the fresh air.
Having access to a washer/dryer is a great perk as well.
The elevator is compact, so if you are more than two people with luggage, you may need to make several trips.
Only gave the facilities a 3/5 because there aren’t any to speak of. There is a front desk, but we haven’t seen anyone there since we’ve been here.
Overall, 10 out of 10 would recommend!
