A charming white brick cottage surrounded by mature shrubs and trees, situated in a peaceful corner of historic Habbisburgh on the north Norfolk coast. This elegant country abode is the perfect relaxing retreat for small families or couples and their tufty-pawed companions. Admire the rugged cliffs as you stroll along the shoreline of Happisburgh Beach (500 metres), before indulging in a spot of afternoon tea in the sun-dappled garden room.

This traditional property features a fresh interior with bright neutral tones, exposed beams, and tasteful coastal design details. Shrug off outer layers at the door then pad along the polished wooden floor into the lounge. Set the mood with a crowd-pleaser playlist on the iPod dock then flop down amongst the soft scatter cushions with a tipple. In cooler months, bask in the warmth of the wood burner electric fire and snuggle in with a film on the Smart TV. Blether over a brew in the sunny conservatory or pour over local guidebooks at the breakfast table while the canine travellers snooze on the doggy beds provided. Keen chefs will be in their element pottering in the spacious shaker kitchen. Gather in the formal dining area for a celebratory evening with fine wine and tasty food aplenty. Sneak a post-dinner snooze on the day bed or retreat upstairs to find a bright double and an airy twin room. Early risers can bask in the morning sun from the enclosed courtyard with coffee and paper in hand.

Spot the quaint thatched roof houses as you amble through the streets of Habbisburgh (700 metres) then ascend the spiral steps inside the iconic red and white striped lighthouse (500 metres) to enjoy sweeping coastal vistas. - Beach 0.5 miles, pub and shop within 0.25 miles

- Please note, three steps lead down to the inner hall bedroom

- Sleeps 4+1 with additional truckle bed for bedroom 2 - £60 per week, payable on booking

- Optional day bed for alternative sleeping arrangements
