A fantastic cottage set within a former village high school just 1.5 miles from Southwold. Offering easy access to attractions across the Suffolk Coast & Heaths AONB, and featuring an open-plan lounge/diner and private lawned gardens, this dog-friendly cottage is perfect for families keen to enjoy an active holiday in stunning surroundings.
The two-storey cottage is finished to an incredibly high standard, its welcoming rooms filled with colourful and contemporary soft furnishings helping to create a relaxing atmosphere at every turn. The open-plan lounge/diner glows in natural light that pours in from an original school window during the day: a great place to relax after a long day exploring the coast. Foodies will be in their element amongst the equipment in the Shaker-style kitchen, creating memorable feasts using locally-sourced ingredients. The cottage’s two bedrooms - an en-suite double and a twin - are inviting areas featuring statement artwork and carpeted flooring, with a striking family shower room just beyond. Outside, fire up the BBQ in the enclosed rear garden while the children play with the dog, or just sit back and relax in the sun while reflecting on a day well spent.
Head out on foot or bicycle along the numerous trails branching out from Reydon (1 mile) towards the coast and open countryside. The Suffolk Coast & Heaths AONB is littered with attractive towns and villages offering dog- and family-friendly amenities, with seaside towns like Southwold and Walberswick (within 10 miles) close to nature reserves.
