Lavenham is one of Britain’s best preserved medieval villages and the timber-framed architecture is striking in its beauty. There are plenty of eateries in the food capital of Suffolk, and the Railway Walk and Woodland Walk are on your doorstep, perfect to walk off a hearty meal.
This welcoming property set over two levels offers a warm embrace as soon as you enter offering soothing, soft tones and elegant decor. Step into the ground floor living area and relax on the comfortable sofas, enjoy watching TV and the warmth of a coal effect fire for cosy nights in the winter months. The L-shaped kitchen/diner has all the everyday appliances you need to create your favourite meals and has access to the rear garden. Upstairs you’ll find a bathroom and two bedrooms: one double and one single. The historic market town of Bury St Edmunds is 12.5 miles where you can step back through 1000 years of history. Kentwell Hall (5 miles) is a delightful, moated Tudor house with 25 acres of garden to explore and worth a visit, or if you prefer country parks, then enjoy the lake and grassland and woodland walks at Melford Country Park (6 miles).
