Indulge House

On a gloriously impulsive whim, the three of us (mum, wife, and I) dashed off to Indulge in Revora, North Goa, to celebrate Valentine’s Day followed immediately by my wife’s birthday. The name alone felt like a dare, and the promise of geodesic domes in a palm-fringed grove, plus a pickleball court, was too intriguing to resist. Booked! The drive was deliberately extended (I may have taken a few “scenic detours” until side-eye levels became critical), but once we hit the winding roads along the Chapora river, proper old-Goa magic kicked in — lush, quiet, zero chaos. Chef Marinha welcomed us with the kind of relaxed smile that instantly lowers blood pressure. Lawns immaculate, palms perfectly spaced like they’d read a design magazine. Our dome was surprisingly spacious and stylish — 4-star comfort with glamping soul. Plenty of room for three adults and zero awkward spaces/ details. Standout moments: • Marathon pickleball session that accidentally became a 90-minute workout (who knew?). • Sunset from the little machaan — pure palm-silhouette postcard. • Viplav’s wizard-level cocktails (coffee-infused perfection — trust him blindly). • Midnight surprise cake that made my wife beam and mum clap like a delighted child. The real highlight? The people. We accidentally barged into what we thought was a private room, only to find the owner’s dog Gulzar chairing a team meeting. My instant classic line: “Sorry, didn’t realise Gulzar was in a meeting!” Instant ice-breaker. Turns out the property doubles as HQ for a brilliant unlimited concierge service — ran into our friend’s daughter Katya working there; small-world joy overload. Food was flawless — Marinha nailed every dietary request with obvious passion. Morning walk through nearby paddy fields and riverbank was pure peace. Indulge isn’t just a stay; it’s a proper vibe — warm, genuine, quietly luxurious. Massive thanks to Marinha, Viplav, Ramesh, Katya, Amit, and the whole crew for turning back-to-back celebrations into memories we’ll replay forever.
