Auckland House - 5-Bedroom Shared Apartment near Southsea Beach

Nice location. Clean and well maintained.

The shower was faulty. Could do with a bedside lamp in the room.

Sarah was very kind and gave clear instructions about check in and check out.

The room was incredibly hot. When asked for a fan, I was told by the manager “Does the listing say it includes a fan? Open the windows”. Granted the heat wave is unusual but to make up a room with a heavy down comforter, and then not only not provide a fan (apparently some people got them and then they ran out) but I couldn’t even get a bed sheet for the bed. The room (4) faced a busy with two bright lights from the house opposite. So, while there black out curtains, that prevented any sort of breeze. Suffice to say I did not sleep well at all. Too expensive for what was offered. Positives: room was clean and well turned out, other guests were kind, kitchen well organized (I did not use).
