Romantic Apartman by Prague Castle

歴史ある建物を改装した造りですので、エアコンやエレベーターが無い点に注意してください。扇風機を用意してくれてましたが、夏場の日中は暑いです。

Location was excellent — just a couple of minutes' walk from top landmarks like Prague Castle and Charles Bridge. Wallenstein Garden is right across the road. The area on the other side is very quiet, clean, and safe. Importantly for us, you can reach the apartment from the main rail station by direct tram without changing. The apartment itself is clean and beautiful; you can tell it was recently renovated and well equipped. It has more than basic dishes — useful amenities for a longer stay, such as an iron and a washing machine. The host welcomed us in person on arrival, which is uncommon these days. She was very kind and helpful, told us about the apartment, and recommended places to visit and restaurants in the area.

Our stay was excellent, so there were few negatives. If I must mention two points: The neighborhood has many embassies, government and historic buildings, so few local residents and limited nearby facilities — it can be harder to find a well‑stocked grocery store within immediate walking distance. The apartment is on the first floor (ground +1) with no lift, so you must carry luggage and, in our case, a baby stroller up the stairs yourself. The staircase is wide and comfortable, so this wasn't a real problem for us.
