The apartment itself is excellent: very clean, modern, recently renovated, spacious and comfortable. The location is perfect - central yet on a quiet street.

However, the check-in process was extremely frustrating and not safe! We received no instructions before arrival and no response via Booking.com - neither the day before arrival nor on the day of arrival, including our question about early check-in. After arriving, we had to call and only then we were informed that we needed to complete an online registration before receiving any check-in details. The registration (sent via WhatsApp) required not only providing personal data and uploading ID documents, but also signing additional agreements - something not expected when booking through Booking.com and not communicated in advance. It’s also not how you want to spend your vacation day dealing with bureaucracy and reading through contracts that should normally be handled by the host. Instructions were eventually sent not via WhatsApp but by email with a link, resulting in a confusing chain: Booking → WhatsApp → email → external link. We also received a long list of rules and potential fines, which made the experience uncomfortable. While it’s understandable to have penalties for damaged or broken items, charging fines for things like not taking out the trash or incorrectly handling towels felt excessive. Isn’t basic cleaning supposed to be included in the price? After our departure we received a WhatsApp message from another unknown number asking to confirm the booking asking for the payment, warning it could be canceled otherwise - which only adds to the absurdity of the situation. Shortly after, I was contacted by the platform itself warning that this message was a scam. This means that my personal details (name, stay dates, and accommodation information) may have been exposedand used by third parties to send fraudulent links. It is very concerning that a one-night stay (For 160€ per night!!) with such poor organization and lots of stress could also put guests’ data at risk. Not acceptable
