Tranquility - Cabin nestled in the mountains

Tranquility... they did not make a mistake with that name. I've been to cabins before, but never one this well thought out. From the couch next to the fireplace, to the tablet and chairs indoors, to the table and chairs outdoors (great for breakfast), to the hammocks and wooden recliners. The comfortable bed, the outdoor shower and jacuzzi. Not to mention the cool, crystal-clear river and hiking trails around. It was the first time in a long time that I was in a place where you can't even hear cars in the distance. Just the gentle breeze blowing the the trees, the stream flowing in the back, and birds and insects chirping all around. It was like a detox to my soul, as someone who lives right at the edge of Cape Town CBD. The host, Shaun, was really helpful in making us feel comfortable.

Nothing

Peaceful, away from the noise. Beautiful views

Nothing, but a microwave will be helpful

We absolutely loved our stay! The setting is truly beautiful and feels like a peaceful escape. Even before we arrived, we were met with such warmth and helpfulness that by the time we got there we immediately felt at home. The location is secluded and private and also gave us a wonderful sense of freedom, with everything we could possibly need thoughtfully provided, along with a few extra luxuries that made the experience even more special. Every detail was of exceptional quality, and it’s clear a lot of care has gone into creating such a comfortable and welcoming environment. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Nothing we don’t like - a little more signage on the trails and for directions to and from the cabin would be super helpful.

Beautifull location near a little stream. The hottub is great, the bed comfortable and the shower is also good. For being in the middle of nowhere you are supprisingly close to Worcester for groceries. It is also a good location to discover other parts (bainspass kloof etc).

Missing a table outside. Missing some more comfortable chairs. The ones on the picture are the only ones and they are comfortable up to a point.
