Cosy Burford Cotswold Couple Retreat for Two Ppl Dog Friendly

Great location

Parking was tight but my car is large

Lovely, clean, cosy and peaceful accommodation perfectly located in the centre of Burford.

I liked everything.

The location is perfect and quiet at night. The cafe at the church is just round the corner, and the main high street is just yards away. We were able to park by the church and then later outside the property. The terrace is basically the drive leading to the garage where the bins are stored. There were some nice chairs to sit on and cobble stones. The house has a small dark kitchen area on entry but upstairs opens up into a bright and airy living space with a single bed as a sofa and a chair. The vaulted ceilings add character and charm. The bedroom is small with space either side to walk around. There was plenty of hanging space and drawers in the living room. The double bed is soft memory foam, and I prefer a harder bed but the bedding was really nice. The bathroom was very nicely done, although the shower is low for anyone tall. I appreciated the artwork on the walls and the homely decor. We had everything we needed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The carpets need a little cleaning

The location was really great .

The fact that he was really hard to park somewhere and the car park was free but you could only leave the car there for 10 hours so had to keep moving it at night. Also we thought that the terrace was just for us ie so that we could leave the door open and the dogs could come in and out but there were people staying next door who used it as well so we had to keep the dogs in as I was worried they would run straight onto the road.
