Church Cottage

The Cottage is in an excellent location just off the main high street so you benefit from a quiet location yet it's also very close to everything. It has a lovely beautifully maintained garden which is welcoming on sunny mornings and a private parking spot which make parking hassle free in a busy village. The village of Burford is also conveniently located just off the A40 so it's quite central when you want to visit other places in the Cotswolds. The house keeper Sian is very friendly, welcoming and helpful and lives close by if you have any questions or need an issue resolved.

No "didn't likes" but more "things to consider"... It is a cottage so be prepared for small bathrooms and a narrow steep stairs that are typical qualities of cottages. When cooking on the 'Everhot' range you need to be organised and plan ahead.

Key code was in the welcome pack. Easy to access.

The shower facilities. One had a stand up shower and the shower head didn’t stay on the wall. The other bathroom had a shower hose but you couldn’t stand up due to the sloped ceiling.

Location was amazing right in town.

The beds and pillows were uncomfortable.

church bells. on the hour every hour though the night. Local school bell ringing on a Sunday morning at 8am. Too load and for too long. Small kitchen. would have been frustrated if we’d had to use the stove to cook a meal for 4+
