Key code was in the welcome pack. Easy to access.
The shower facilities. One had a stand up shower and the shower head didn’t stay on the wall. The other bathroom had a shower hose but you couldn’t stand up due to the sloped ceiling.

Location was amazing right in town.
The beds and pillows were uncomfortable.

convenient. clean and tidy. well maintained. lovely garden
church bells. on the hour every hour though the night. Local school bell ringing on a Sunday morning at 8am. Too load and for too long.
Small kitchen. would have been frustrated if we’d had to use the stove to cook a meal for 4+

we found the cooking arrangements with the everhot aga type cooker slightly difficult. Not the ideal cooking arrangement for a holiday home but seeing as we ate out every evening it was only breakfasts were rather long winded.

Lovely location, nice back garden, pretty cottage
Could have had a BBQ available in the garden. Also unfortunately there were rubbish collection lorries going down Lawrence Road nearly every morning. Quite noisy if you’re trying to have a holiday lie in.

Location was perfect, being a minutes walk from the High Street. Parking is great - although I drive a mini so this fit on the drive nicely, a much larger car may struggle here! Kitchen was very well equipped, literally had everything you would ever need. A lovely welcome pack on arrival - tea, coffee pods, milk and biscuits :) We were also given a lovely bottle of Prosecco from the owners as they were aware that it was our (postponed!) wedding day, it was a lovely touch and very thoughtful. Nespresso machine in the kitchen. Dishwasher (only one tablet provided so bring some if you intend to put it on more than once!). Fridge and freezer and washing machine. I really don't think there is anything more you could want in the kitchen. Huge dining area which would be great for all the family. The living room was also fully equipped with a TV that has Netflix and Sky - very nice touch for a holiday cottage. The garden is beautiful and very well kept, it is lovely to sit out here in the sun. Bedrooms all well equipped, towels provided and beds comfy!
Cleanliness of the cottage could've been better. On arrival there were skid marks in the En-suite bathroom. This would never be acceptable, but especially in Covid times I think this is unforgiveable. Some mould in the ensuite shower, however I think this is just what you get with an older building like this. The kitchen sink was also a bit dirty on arrival, clearly sides had been wiped down and emptied into the sink - so just needed a rinse but hadn't been done. A bit more attention to detail on the cleaning would've made our stay better.
After leaving, we were also asked if we made marks to the Oak worktops by cutting directly onto it...this was not us (as mentioned the kitchen is so well equipped that there are many chopping boards to use) and Claire & Emma had only just noticed this after we had left, as such again attention to detail when cleaning would've been better here.
The Church bells ring on the hour every hour (starting at 6 for us, not sure if this changes throughout the year we came in Summer) which is a lovely sound but doesn't do much for you if you want to have a lay in! This was just our personal preference.

Great location, very cosy little cottage in a quiet side street .
Netflix was available and the kitchen appliances were great .
One shower didn’t work ( basically no water pressure and broken hose ) and the bath is under a sloping roof so that you can’t shower in an upright position. The whole family of 5 had to use the other bathroom for that reason .
